Giving to Calvary
“Each one must give as they decide in their heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)
Giving to Calvary and its ministries can take many forms. For those wishing to donate financially to support Calvary, there are several online and automatic options available.
Give your time
The single biggest contribution you can make to Calvary is to give of your time and talents. Calvary relies heavily on volunteers with a diverse mix of backgrounds and skills to pursue its mission. To sign up for specific needs, follow the link below or call the church office.
Through your bank
Many banks support scheduled payments through a “Bill Pay” or similar service, often for free. Once you set up a recurring payment with your bank, they will automatically mail a check to Calvary each month (or however often you schedule) on your behalf. Using this option, 100% of your gift goes to support Calvary’s ministries.
Single gifts
Calvary is registered with the PayPal Giving Fund and can receive donations through their online portal. Please use this option for one-time online gifts, as Calvary is not charged a fee for these transactions – 100% of the funds go toward supporting Calvary’s mission. This service does not support recurring payments.
Recurring gifts
Calvary is registered with PayPal as a non-profit and can receive donations through their online portal. This option supports recurring (scheduled) giving by credit card or PayPal account. Calvary is charged a small fee (around 3%) as a percentage of each transaction using this method.
Venmo
For those who prefer, one-time gifts can be sent to Calvary through Venmo: our handle is @calvaryoshkosh. Calvary is charged a small fee (around 2%) as a percentage of each transaction using Venmo.
